This policy outlines our approach to returns, refunds, and exchanges, and applies to all purchases made directly from Swastik Imports & Exports by retail businesses.
1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund or replacement if the product you receive:
Is faulty, damaged, or unsafe;
Is significantly different from the description or sample;
Does not do what we said it would do, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
These rights cannot be excluded, even for wholesale transactions.
2. No Change of Mind Returns
We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for:
Change of mind;
Ordering errors;
Excess stock;
Unsold products.
We strongly encourage all customers to review their orders carefully before confirming.
3. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Products
If you receive goods that are damaged, spoiled, defective, or incorrect, please notify us within 24–48 hours of delivery with the following details:
Business name and order number;
Description of the issue;
Clear photos of the affected product(s).
Once verified, we will offer one of the following remedies:
Replacement of the affected product(s);
Credit note for future orders;
Refund, if a replacement or credit is not suitable.
4. Perishable Goods
Due to food safety regulations, returns on perishable items (e.g., fresh, frozen, or refrigerated products) will only be accepted if:
The item was delivered damaged, spoiled, or unusable;
The issue is reported within 24 hours of delivery;
The product has been stored correctly and not tampered with.
We may request that the product be returned or disposed of safely, depending on the situation.
5. Return Process
To lodge a return request:

Provide all necessary supporting documentation (order number, photos, description);
Our team will assess the claim and respond within 2 business days;
If approved, we will coordinate return, replacement, or credit arrangements.
Returned goods must be:
In original packaging (where applicable);
Untampered and handled according to food safety standards.
6. Special Order Items
Custom-packed or special-order items are non-returnable, unless they are faulty or not as agreed.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the replacement cost or refund of the goods supplied. Swastik Imports & Exports is not liable for:
Loss of profit;
Business interruption;
Any indirect or consequential loss.
